Design: Spectore’s award winning design team is equipped, full versed, and proficient in a wide variety of CAD software programs including: Matrix, Rhino, and Solid-works, Pro-engineer, and Master Cam.
Prototyping: We have both mechanical and manual prototyping capabilities.
Machining: Our machining capabilities includes a full compliment of CNC lathes, full 5 axis mills, Swiss machining, and mini mills.
Tool room: We have well equipped tooling centers with both wire and sinker EDM
capabilities as well as a full array of manual machining centers and presses.
Casting: In 2007 Spectore acquired Tinomics Ltd. Tinomics was North America´s leading full service casting facility solely dedicated to casting high temperature alloys in small formats.
Welding & joining: Spectore features a variety of soldering, welding (including laser) and joining technologies.
Marking: In addition to mechanical and conventional laser marking technologies, Spectore´s laser marking centers features the latest in laser marking technology.
Stone setting: Spectore employs both hand and machine setting systems.
Assembly: Through nearly 3 decades of manufacture Spectore has designed and developed a vast library of proprietary processing tools and equipment specifically engineered for working in hard and high temperature alloys. These innovative product and material specific apparatus insure efficient productivity and optimize consistency throughout production.
Heat treating: Heat treating and stress relieving of strategic high temperature materials requires a great deal of R&D and investment in resources to fine tune and document repeatable procedures. That, combined with computer monitored heat treating units allows for optimum consistency in material and product.
Etching: Spectore began developing various etching technologies from its inception in the early 1980s. Spectore´s technological discoveries in this area have been published in text books and trade journals which have been translated in 8 different languages.
Anodizing: Along with etching, Spectore has pioneered the anodizing of the refractory metals titanium, niobium, and tantalum. Spectore has taken anodizing from the world of art collectors, galleries, and museum pieces through the commercial viability of consumer products.
Mechanical finishing: Spectore´s European built state-of-the-art mass finishing capabilities are, like other technologies, fully computerized and integrated. It has been fine tuned by German finishing experts specifically versed in finishing of specialty materials.
Manual finishing: To insure the optimum quality demanded by ourselves and our most discriminating clients, all products are finished in part or whole by our specialized finishers. Each of these experts is trained by us and works with materials and techniques developed by and for us specifically for our application.
QA stations: Our track record for quality assurance stands our name atop the lists of the most discerning of clients. Our procedures and quality expectations mandate excellence without compromise. |
